information on the wireless system

Hello everyone, 
I want to build the system for energy control, 
but possibly without wifi connections. 
I saw in the shop the display and other things, they have an option, 
that says: No RT. 
By choosing this option so I can connect via cable 
and not via wireless?

I think you need this: http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/node/3872

(The wireless that we use is not WiFi, it uses a different radio frequency to your computer.)
