I have an emonTxV3 and a Raspberry Pi – RFM12PI & Hard Drive.
I am In the US and have #1 CT on the PV output and CT # 2 and #3 on the Split Phase 240 V L1 and L2 legs with all three CT’s orientated to positive values.
The emonTx3 is powered by a 240V to 9 V AC transformer and have gone thru all the calibration steps and have valid Inputs.
With the help of the really excellent info here I was able to get Ver 8.1.1 up and running, and as I said with valid Inputs showing on Key 1 (PV Input), Key 2 (L1 Load), Key 3 (L2 Load) and Key 5 (RMS Volts).
So far I have been unable to figure out how to get these values into and display on either My Electric or on a Dashboard?
Is there a step by step really basic guide for this --- I am stuck at this point?
Re: Stuck at getting the Input Values into a display
Have you read the "Docs" at emoncms.org? Scroll down the first page and on the left is a heading "Using emoncms", and beneath that a list of pages that describe the processing that happens inside emoncms.
Re: Stuck at getting the Input Values into a display
Yep, but it's a little overwhelming when you first start trying to piece all the selections together in the right order.
After a bunch of failed attempts, I now have the basic dials showing the correct values. Still need to do some fine tuning and refine the Display to how I would like it.
I'll attach a png screenshot of what I have so far. It is a nice sunny day in South Dakota and the Inverter output will soon be going over 10 KW's before noon local.
Thanks
