I would like to use my existing EmonTX V2.0 board to control the system instead of using the additional Arduino board. I have this set up in "Mode 2" using the additional AC voltage sensing transformer. I use an external TX for this currently but would like to incorporate the TX as part of this kit with the EMonTX PCB into a new casing as per the example build. Do I just need to add the additional CT to the spare input on the EmonTX and use a spare digital out to control the Triac then add the sketch and recompile? Do I need an additional (3rd) CT or can I use the reading from CT2?
Using the EmonTX V2.0 to control the Robin's Solar diverter.

You can indeed use an emonTx to run the Mk2 (any variant) but if I understand you correctly, are you intending to keep the 'standard' reporting calculations as well? Then you need one of the free-running or the interrupt versions. So long as one of your c.t's is measuring the nett power to/from the grid, you can use that for both measurement and control purposes, then put the other one on the inverter connection and you'll have a "Type 2" installation. You can easily add a header to the emonTx pcb to take off a digital output; though for all the i/o, you'll need to check and change the outputs in the Mk2 sketches to suit the different board layout of the emonTx compared to the Arduino. We're in the process of documenting that. I've lost track of exactly which Mk 2 sketch does what, I don't think any of the published Mk2 sketches incorporate measurement and reporting, but MartinR has published a design that does: http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/node/1535

I'm using MartinR's sketch which works impressively. I've sent you a PM with a web link to my emoncms site, so that you can see how it performs.

Paul - Would you mind sending me your web link too?
I am also using MartinR's sketch. With additions by BrianD we can control both hard-wired diverter and remote radio controlled loads. This is work in progress. I haven't looked into the data logging side of things yet.....
Thanks
