Hi all,
I am have an issue getting the emoncms package installed on freshly installed Debian 7. As per the instructions I’ve added the line to the sources.list file:
deb http://emon-repo.s3.amazonaws.com wheezy unstable
and then run the system repository update, however when I run the install I get (ps. I’ve manually typed the output below as I haven’t got a handle on copy&paste from the VM to my host – so hopefully no typos):
root@debianVM:/etc/apt# apt-get –y –force-yes install emoncms
Reading package lists… Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information… Done
E: Unable to locate package emoncms
Do you have any ideas where I might be going wrong?
Thanks,
Jason
Re: emoncms package not found when installing using apt-get on Debian7
Hello,
same problem here.
Source added, apt-get update without error, but no package found.
apt-cache search emoncms... no one found.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance.
Re: emoncms package not found when installing using apt-get on Debian7
Also getting this error, except that the apt-get update fails:
For what it's worth, I am trying this on a ReadyNAS RN312, which is running a slightly modified Wheezy. That should not affect the workings of apt though (I've been able to use apt to install many other packages).

You could also take a look at http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/node/5169 as there is an issue with non-raspberrypi platform packages not being available.
