Install emoncms on Debian

Hi, So I want to install emoncms on the Raspberry Pi but I couldn't when I run 
sudo apt-get install emoncms

​it says

E: Unable to locate package emoncms

​so any help?  thanks.

Did you add the repository location to the "sources list" and use sudo apt-get update first ?

The debian repo hasn't been updated in a while and the last included update had a couple of bugs, these have since been ironed out in the main git repo but not the debian repo.
