Hi All
I have now successfully built my EmonTX and EmonBase units, loaded the code and have a working test setup with Pachube. What i want to do know, is fit the EmonTX to a case.
Will the EmonTX v2.0 fit the Farnell case as per v1.4? (MULTICOMP - BC2W - CASE, ABS, W/CLIP, WHITE)
Also i am after wiring up my encapsulated temperature sensor from the shop. But i cannot find any reference to the wiring.
Would i be right in assuming GND = Black, Vcc = Red and Data = White?
Regards
Roger
Re: Case for EmonTX and temp sensor wiring
That's indeed the case that Glen mentions on his webshop pages (for example http://shop.openenergymonitor.com/emontx433-kit/ just above the documentation headline).
My EmonTX was fitted to a case from Dutch/German Conrad (article 522733). It did however require some additional filing of the PCB to make it fully fit (and of course cutting holes for all the plugs).
Regarding the wiring, I'm also curious what the scheme is.
Re: Case for EmonTX and temp sensor wiring
For the temperature sensor wiring then:
Red - Vcc
Black - Gnd
White - Data
