Hi, I am creating bar graphs which are supposed to show energy use per day, month, and year. I am currently using the emoncms kWh/day feed as my data, but this doesn't give me the accumulated kWh for the current day (is that right - the kWh/day feed is only updated for whole days?). One option could be to use the kWh feed in addition and compute accumulated kWh for the current day as the difference between the most recent kWh value and the last kWh value from the previous day. Is there any easier way of doing this - any feed that is more suitable, or any way of creating a feed that directly gives me the data I need?

Re: accumulated kwh for current day
Hello kathkars, the power to kwh/d processor should do what you want. But alternatively you might like to look at the new method that does as you suggest calculating the difference on a kwh feed, see the bottom of this guide: http://openenergymonitor.blogspot.com/2014/08/monitoring-solarpv-heatpum...
Re: accumulated kwh for current day
Hi Trystan, thanks for your help. I was using the kwh to kwh/d processor, the power to kwh/d processor seems indeed to be doing what I want it to (although the values are highly unrealistic at the moment).
I also had a look at the Wh accumulator feed you suggested, but can't seem to be able to use it as an input to the bargraph (only my kwh/d feeds appear in the drop down menu). Also, the only configuration options I get on the dashboard widget's configuration page is choice of feed and choice of colour. Is that maybe a feature of the most recent emoncms versions? I'm using version 8.2.6.
