nearly all my emoncms.org graphs reading zero [Solved]

Since 07:30 this morning the graphs from all my nodes except one went to zero despite the feed values still showing correct values.

Is something going on at emoncms.org to cause this or is it something I've done locally?  Has this happened to anyone elses graphs?

Re: nearly all my emoncms.org graphs reading zero [Solved]

I didn't think it was the same as Paul's problem as mine is only affecting v809 on the emoncms.org server. My local server is showing the same graphs fine with v8.2.6  Also my graphs are plotting the timebase but with all the feed values shown as zero. ie. flatline

However reading Paul's thread again there may be a connection as the only thing I did yesterday morning was use editrealtime on a couple of Wh feeds to bring them inline with my utility meters. I did this on my local server as well which is still working normally so it may be unrelated.

Don't know what browser you are using, but see if there are errors reported in developers tools.

ie in Chrome, select 'Tools' > 'Developers Tools'

I'm using chrome as well.

The error looks to be the same as Paul's when trying to display a realtime graph.ie. cannot read property '0' of undefined.

The error I get when trying to display a multigraph is slightly different...cannot read property '0' of null.

Strange thing is this is affecting all of the feeds from 2 out of 3 of my nodes. The feeds from the third node are all displaying correctly so far.

@ngbod something has indeed gone wrong there, the feeds in question have expanded to about 600mb, I'm looking in to it.

Ok, progress, PHPFiwa feeds recovered up to the point at which they zeroed 7:25 on the 7th June. PHPFina left to do.  This error only seems to have affected your feeds ngbod, it may well be connected to the edit realtime operation, Il look into that.

@ngbod, fixed your PHPFina feeds now too. I've disabled the realtime editor until I ensure it wont cause a similar issue again.

That's brilliant, everything seems to be working properly again, thanks Trystan.

Hi Trystan,

Any idea when editrealtime will be enabled again in VIS ?

I notice from time to time that I receive illegal values from my Power Feed and then I correct it in order not to have graphs having Power values all over the place.

Maybe I should try to find why I am  getting false values from the Power feed on my side.

I am using a Efergy monitor (decoding RF stream feeding the Monitor from the CT wireless device), feeding a homebuilt TinyTx with ATMega328 + RFM12B as per Cantrel/Harizanov ideas.

Was the easiest way for me to get Power data to the RasperryPi with Harizanov board as I had the Efergy Power Monitoring hardware in use all the time.

My EMONCMS username is  "laotour1943"  , not the same as forum name. (please edit/cut this line from my posting if this name is too public)

Locally I use the Raspberry Pi + Harddrive + Emoncms and a Version 1 board from Martin Harizanov.

The Efergy Monitoring is not as accurate as expected mainly because in the Seperate monitoring device , it uses a preset voltage eg 230V (or value set by user) to do the calculations before displaying.

This is different from the OpenEnergy Monitoring devices which measure current and voltage separately.

So I can also improve accuracy and simplify my system by going the OpenEnergy , or Harizanov way.

Thanks
