After successfully using the downloaded images for the Raspberry Pi + Harddrive + Emoncms I decided to follow the guide in http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/node/4908 to enable future updates via git.
After what appeared to be a successful installation I logged onto myip/emoncms/input/node to see the inputs from my emontx but when I press the spanner symbol to configure the inputs I am presented with a form with empty dropdown lists under 'add process'. I have 'v8.1.2 (from apt)' at the bottom of the form. I re-tried starting from scratch but with the same result.
I have no idea where to start looking for what is wrong. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
