Is it possible to use this solution to measure the dc power(1mA-2A)? So can we just plug in some dc current sensor? Anyone has a clue?

Re: measuring dc power
I know exactly how to measure power. But my crystal ball is not working so I cannot know what you have in mind. You need to tell us more about what you want to do.
And just for information, power is not measured an amps or milliamps. (That's another useful bit of information you need to release.)
Re: measuring dc power
Hi
Details of Trystan's earlier DC monitoring here :- http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/buildingblocks/dc-shunt
An arduino solution here :- http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Amp-Hour-Meter-Arduino/
This uses the monitoring IC that Trystan recommends as a better solution than the DC shunt he used.
