Hi there all
i just fnish to build the emonbase and the emontx
I'll use for now just one ct (ct2) in order to test.
I just download the https://github.com/openenergymonitor/emonTxFirmware/blob/master/emonTx_1CT_Voltage/Emon.cpp
and upload in the emontx, but on the serial monitor i see a lot of strange values:
0.02 0.08 0.42 0.20 0.29
0.02 0.08 0.40 0.20 0.29
0.02 0.07 0.39 0.19 0.28
0.02 0.08 0.41 0.20 0.29
0.03 0.09 0.43 0.20 0.31
0.03 0.09 0.44 0.20 0.30
0.03 0.09 0.43 0.20 0.30
I use the arduino 1.0 ... so my question is, is the emonTx_1CT_Voltage the right one ?
Here is the output of the emoncms:
rf_fail 2s ago 0
ct1 2s ago 22216
battery 2s ago 15592
Thanks in advance
Denis
Re: I'm ready but too much sources
Are using using an AC-AC voltage adapter? If not then you should use emonT singleCT example.
Re: I'm ready but too much sources
Glyn - can you advise where you got the latest lot of AC/AC adapters from? Farnell have stopped stocking them, or did you buy them out...... ;)
Have seen a couple of 1000mA equivalents - does any code need changing if I get these? Im really keen to get as accurate a reading as possible.

We have plenty in stock. You can use emonTx with CT only to measure current and calculate apparent power.
Re: I'm ready but too much sources
Hi Glyn, thanks for the help
...well i don't use the AC-AC adapter, i don't want to use it for the moment
I just program the emonTX and now i talìke this output:
49
39
44
47
44
47
44
45
30
44
47
I try in this time to consum +2000watts or 0 watts ... but the number is he same.
I try also the ct1 and also the ct2 ...
What i don't understant is if this is normal or i wrong something.
Thanks agian

Re: I'm ready but too much sources
Is there a source in order to calibrate the emontx please ?
The one that i found is work with an arduino...
Thanks again
Denis
