problen update from Emoncms version: 8.3.6 to 9.4

In my ubuntu installation.

I have this error:

and

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[', expecting ')' in /var/www/emoncms_new/Modules/admin/admin_controller.php on line 125

What process did you follow to update from 8 > 9? Is it a fresh install or update?

Can you login and create an account?

Any more info in the log file or developer tools?

There might be an issue using /emoncms_new instead of /emoncms

Later I test renaming the directories...

Hello eduardoa, line 125 and the error your experiencing relates to this part here: $redis->info()['used_memory_human'].

Which is a new php syntax I think in version 5.4. You will probably need to upgrade your php version for emoncms to work.
