I bought the EmonGLCD kit about a year ago, and I've tried various times to program the thing. Currently it's sitting there doing nothing. I have a eMonTX, eMonTH and the shield on my RPi2, and those are all working.
I really tried getting the thing programmed - downloaded various programs, all those libraries, and I can't even get the software to see the chip. I don't know if it's my programmer, or software, or what the heck. I'm not even sure I'm plugging things in the correct places?
The tutorials assume a higher level of knowledge than I obviously have. I can solder, I have the kit built, but getting the software on there is mind-boggling.
So, is anyone prepared to program my kit? I am willing to post it to you, and pay a nominal fee for your time.
Re: Can someone program my EmonGLCD chip?
If you get no other offers, I can look at it for you, but not for a week or two.
Re: Can someone program my EmonGLCD chip?
Thanks Robert, no big panic - as I said it's sat for a good while. I could probably figure it out if I had a spare month, but I don't, and I'm not even convinced the serial programmer I got from PRC even works...too many variables making things not work.
Re: Can someone program my EmonGLCD chip?
Robert, are you free to look at this now? I was having a tidy up and found the sad looking GLCD module...I had forgotten about it somewhat.
Re: Can someone program my EmonGLCD chip?
There will be a PM on its way shortly.
