I have just been following the instructions to setup my shiny new emonPi. It works over Ethernet and I can tell it to connect to my WiFi router (BT Homehub 3) and it claims to be connected but when I go to my browser and type in the IP address displayed under WiFi on the unit it doesn't work. Three things I have noted, one is the IP address is 10.201.76.42 which is not on the 192.168 subnet my router normally uses, secondly when I log onto the router it is not displayed as one of the attached devices and thirdly there are TX and Rx packets and TX bytes but no RX bytes on the wifi config page (see attached.)
Any help would be much appreciated,
Peter
Re: Wifi setup
Ok, I have worked it out.
Turns out i had entered the WiFi password wrong. For some reason the emonPi was claiming to be connected to a network on 10.201.76.42 even when it actually wasn't so that was what was confusing me. I think there is a bug in there somewhere regarding when it is connected and when it isn't.
