Hello
Have finally managed to sort out and build all 3 modules and connect up to the PV system - all looking resonable good with the exception of the above it turned out quite a learning experience - I have to thank many of your post and the dedication of the members here for my success.
My question is how to improve the tx and rx distance between modules - simple walking away experiments suggest a line of sight of about 10 feet is the maximum or less though a wall. Does anyone have any tips to improve this or what can be measured or checked to confirm they are working correctly?. They are operating at 868Mhz

Re: RFM12B - Distance - How to improve distance between emonTX and EmonGLCD
Hello David, they should give much more than that, my test range here is about 30-40 feet and two thick stone walls at which point it starts to get flaky. Have you got the frequency in the sketch set to 868Mhz?

Ok I get that maybe not (in the time honered way "don't assume anything") - too late tonight to check - will have to reload all the programs to confirm this will let you know the outcome.
Many thanks for the promt reply

Your help appreciated
