I can't work out wether I've missed some stage in the setup or not... "power2" is not appearing on the "Inputs" page of emoncms. I have rf_fail, power1, voltage and temperature.
My system monitors both house and solarPV (Type 1) with an EmonTX which then connects with an EmonBase and EmonGLCD.
All three were programmed jsut the other day with the latest code.
The GLCD works wonderfully showing "using" , "Solar PV" and "importing/exporting" as things happen ....
BUT....
EnomCMS won't give me power2 as an input - Is there something I need to do to make it show up? The others appeared by themselves. I can't show generation.
Everything is working perfectly apart from giving me "power2" as an input.
Does anyone have any suggestions? ..or is there something fundamental that I'm misunderstanding!?
Re: Power2 missing?
.....errr, please ignore me on that one! Now I've had a little time this evening to look through the code I realised I needed to add "power2" to be reported in the EmonBase code!! Obvious when I had time!! :-s
I'm very sorry, I hope to have something better to post next time :-)

Re: Power2 missing?
1st post, go easy on me :)
Recieved all my Solar kit yesterday, opted for 2 CT monitors, emonGLCD, the pi daughter board and purchased a pi.
Managed to trundle through setting up an sql db with emoncms etc. Had a bit of a strange one whereby when the solar generated over circa 300watts, the house power usage would drop by 200watts. I solved this by removing the ac adaptor and reflashing the EmonTX with the CT123 code and removing thac adaptor, all is well again.
The emonGLCD works a treat now as it should, oh apart from it not syncing up the correct time, in fact it doesnt sync up any time it just shows the time since it was powered on (any help on this would be appreciated).
The main reason for me jumping on this post is because I cannot seem to get the solar power to be logged in the sqldb?
in the Feeds section of Emoncms it simply says "inactive" yet on the input section the node10_2 is showing the wattage perfect. Needless to say I am unable to create any realtime or historical graphs. I have tried adding various processes to the feed but to no avail? I wondered if the feed naming had to be specific so tried power1, Power1, power2 etc but still it fails to log anything?
many thanks for all your help, I am pretty impressed in the kits and am looking forward to learning much more!
David
further update, just tried to log other feeds and theyre inactive from the Emontx although they show their values live in the Feeds section.
