Might it be possible to add a flag (-q) to the URL which posts data to Ecomcms to limit the return traffic to just 'OK'? The full page HTML formatting has little value when being delivered back to a NanodeRF. This would take load from the servers, broadband connections not to mention the NanodeRF itself.

I second that.

Sorry yes, my fault, it is possible but badly documented. It can be done by adding .json to the url:
http://localhost/emoncms3/api/post.json?apikey=85b2e74c6ce93f50dbef8c7e099f1548&json={power:252.4,temperature:15.4}

Great, thanks for that.
