Question before I go ahead and purchase the emonTx Shield. I have a RFM69 network in the house, mostly Moteino's and some JeeLab RFM69CW boards connected to UNO's. Am in right in thinking I can solder a RFM69CW module to the emonTx shield and it will work ok? Alternatively, I have a spare JeeLab RFM69CW board, I'm thinking one of these would work if I use the stackable headers on the emonTx Shield - http://www.digitalsmarties.net/products/rfm-board. Thanks in advance.

Re: emonTx Shield + RFM69
Hello Arfon, to share the answer to your question here incase its useful for anyone else as well as your more recent email:
Yes the RFM69 will work fine if your uploading code to the arduino in the normal way via usb or UART.
The rfm69 needs a 10-100k resistor on the SEL line if you wanted to upload code using an ISP programmer, or you could disconnect the shield if you where uploading in that way, there's a little note on that here: http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/buildingblocks/rfm69cw
