I came across the site recently, and am excited about the prospects of monitoring my home PV setup. Also... the toys. Everyone needs toys :)
I was about to order the kit, but came across a couple of threads talking about the complications of three phase monitoring.
I have the following inverter, the description for which mentions three-phase a couple of times:

Please forgive the noob question, but would this mean that the inverter feeds three phase power back into the grid, and therefore I need the more complicated three phase OEM setup?

That would indeed appear to be the case, but you would need to ask the installer, or check the wiring, to be certain. What does your electricity meter say on it? Where are you located (your profile doesn't give me any clues)?
The basic emonTx is designed for single phase operation as that is the standard for domestic installations in the UK (where OEM is based). If you want to measure a 3-phase grid connection (for your overall nett energy) and your PV infeed, then the simplest way is to have two emonTx's, though if it's within your capabilities, you could follow our designs but use a more powerful processor than the Atmel 328P and build a full 3-phase unit with 3 voltage inputs and 6 current inputs.

I'm located in Australia. I checked the power meter. it's a Landis + Gyr E350 U3300, which answers the 3-phase question with a Yes.
