Forbidden Error while posting forum replies

Just to highlight that a couple of us have been getting these error's while posting replies on the forums. It seems to be sensitive to what the content of the reply is but its not clear what in the text causes it yet. Im trying to get to the bottom of it.

After trying to post several times, the site may then appear to be unresponsive but is accessible via a proxy. If you reset your home internet router you can get access again.

Re: Forbidden Error while posting forum replies

Site is fully up to date, but the problem persists.

Strangely the word that causes the post to return forbidden is hav ing (without the space between hav and ing..) which seems completely random. pb66 reported 3) causing the same problem a couple of days back.

I will keep investigating

Re: Forbidden Error while posting forum replies

The error seems to only occur in posting forum replies, it does not occur when creating new forum posts or new pages.

Re: Forbidden Error while posting forum replies

I cant replicate the issue running the OpenEnergyMonitor site on a test machine, with same database and application files which suggests some kind of interaction between the drupal comment module and the particular setup on the hosted server.

If anyone else experiences problems with this please let me know so that I can get an idea of how often this is coming up.

Thanks to the webhostuk this should now be sorted!

If your post does not appear, try logging out and back in again to refresh your OpenEnergyMonitor session.
