I've found a couple of posts discussing the V3 connecting directly to the Raspberry Pi, but no definitive posts on the V2. I wish to connect a EmonTx V2 directly to the Pi, i.e without using the wireless modules.
Can someone please confirm whether I need to include a level converter or not ? If one is necessary any references to a circuit diag or drawing will be greatly appreciated.

The serial I/O voltages (indeed all the voltages once you get past the voltage regulators) are the same for both at 3.3 V, so you use exactly the same connections.
