I've been having problems with my nanode RF for a while now. The red led will intermittently turn on, stay on and no data is transmitted until I reset the board. I cannot get it to happen when I monitor serial communication with my laptop. I am running the multinode firmware.
How else could I troubleshoot the issue without connecting to the laptop? It has to be a communication issue between the nanode RF and my router as there are no RF_Fails being sent to emoncms.org. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Help Troubleshooting nanode RF
My thoughts tend towards two possible areas to look at. DHCP lease? or are you using static IP addresses? Is it a serial comms problem? - can you remove all the serial comms output once you're past the initial set-up (or wrap it all in #ifdefs)?
Re: Help Troubleshooting nanode RF
I'll stop the comms and see what happens. I'm on a DHCP lease, not static.
