Hello!
local Server: Ubuntu Server 13.10 x64
I install emoncms according this documentation: http://emoncms.org/site/docs/installlinux
One Point I can´t do:
$ sudo nano /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default Change (line 7 and line 11), "AllowOverride None" to "AllowOverride All". That is the sections and ...
I have only the file:
/etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default.conf:
<VirtualHost *:80>
# The ServerName directive sets the request scheme, hostname and port that
# the server uses to identify itself. This is used when creating
# redirection URLs. In the context of virtual hosts, the ServerName
# specifies what hostname must appear in the request's Host: header to
# match this virtual host. For the default virtual host (this file) this
# value is not decisive as it is used as a last resort host regardless.
# However, you must set it for any further virtual host explicitly.
#ServerName www.example.com
ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost
DocumentRoot /var/www
# Available loglevels: trace8, ..., trace1, debug, info, notice, warn,
# error, crit, alert, emerg.
# It is also possible to configure the loglevel for particular
# modules, e.g.
#LogLevel info ssl:warn
ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/error.log
CustomLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/access.log combined
# For most configuration files from conf-available/, which are
# enabled or disabled at a global level, it is possible to
# include a line for only one particular virtual host. For example the
# following line enables the CGI configuration for this host only
# after it has been globally disabled with "a2disconf".
#Include conf-available/serve-cgi-bin.conf
</VirtualHost>
# vim: syntax=apache ts=4 sw=4 sts=4 sr noet
When I open the site in Chrom and want set up a user, i just get a lightred box under the form and nothing happens.
The database was created! So it can´t a mysql problem.
Need some help, thank you!
Re: [solved] new local installation and can´t user
I also see that the folder "user" is not present. Would it be created automatic?
Thank you!
Re: [solved] new local installation and can´t user
Here's a copy of my 000-default file, you could try using this and make a backup of your existing one?
<VirtualHost *:80> ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost DocumentRoot /var/www <Directory /> Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride All </Directory> <Directory /var/www/> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride All Order allow, deny allow from all </Directory> ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/ <Directory "/usr/lib/cgi-bin"> AllowOverride None Options +ExecCGI -MultiViews +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch Order allow, deny Allow from all </Directory> ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/error.log # Possible values include: debug, info, notice, warn, error, crit, # alert, emerg. LogLevel warn # CustomLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/access.log combined </VirtualHost>Alternatively you may want to use the debian installer method for installing emoncms, which can be found here: http://emoncms.org/site/docs/debianinstall
