Is there a limit to the number of emonTx or emonTH devices that the emonBase can connect to/process/handle ?

Re: emonTx or emonTH device limit
I think it can handle 32. However, it's worth pointing out that you can connect multiple external D18B20 sensors to an emonTH - I have five or six temperature sensors per emonTH so I'm doing most of a floor with one device.
Re: emonTx or emonTH device limit
I need to monitor a Heat Pump using an emonTX with sensors connected to the emonTX, and also use an emonTH outside to get outside temperature and actual ground temperature near the ground collector coil --without needing to run a cable outside !
Re: emonTx or emonTH device limit
It's 30 - the two end values have dedicated functions. See appendix 2 here: http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/buildingblocks/rfm12b2 for details of our "standard", though it's by no means mandatory.
However, if you have 30 transmitting frequently, you might lose data due to collisions when one transmitter blocks another.
Re: emonTx or emonTH device limit
Is it possible to ''send a request'' to each emonTH device in turn to avoid ''collisions'' or can the emonTH units be programmed to ''send'' in a way that coluld possibly avoid ''collisions'' ?
I assume that 30 means 30 emonTH devices with sensors connected and not 30 sensors in total !
