Hi,
I've installed emoncms in ubuntu 13.10 but after some struggle I still can't create any feed...
I'm currently using a python script (posted a few weeks ago in this forum) to gather multicast information from an owl intuition gateway and sending it to my emoncms service...
I can watch the inputs, but when I tried to log them to feed nothing happens....
I tried the rework branch and the results are a little better.... I can create a feed, but isn't listed on the Feed page....
Using thesa me script and sending data to emoncms.org everything works perfectly!
I hope someone give me some insight since I don't know what to do since I already verified everything I remember and the logs don't show any error...

Simply go to the input screen, on the input for which you would like a feed, click on the little wrench icon to the far right of the screen.
A new screen will open, type in the name for your new feed. Click Add.
Repeat this of all of your inputs.

@argofanatic Thanks for your reply. I already used emoncms before and know how to create a feed. The problem is that when I insert the feed name and desired time interval, nothing happens.....
When I tried the rework branch, after inserting the feed name and time interval, everything works better, the feed is created and available on vis (without data from the working input) but not listed in the feeds page....

In your initial post I assume you are using EmonCMS v7, in your last reply you mention the "rework branch" which is EmonCMS v8 which is still in beta.
Which one is currently installed?
How did you migrate from v7? to v8?
It might be worth deleting your efforts to date and starting again, as you are on linux I would suggest currently sticking with v7 as there are far more people able to offer their support.
When you've done this can you also confirm which datastores you are using? MySQL, timestore, redis?

I've done a fresh v7 install with timestore... after the python script execution I could see the input on EmonCMS, but nothing happened when I tried to log the input to a new feed... If using only Mysql, the feed creatin page from input didn't have thye interval box to choose the time interval (and don't works also)...
After that I reviewed all the logs and didn't find anything wrong....
Change to rework branch with git...
With v8 I could create a feed and see it listed in VIS page, but not on FEEDs page...
I also prefer v7 because have more support.
Can you recommend some way of debugging? I don't know where to search...

Any hints in /var/log/apache2/error.log?
