Is there any problem with using an Raspberry Pi as opposed to the rev 2 which has twice the RAM, slightly different GPIO pin assignments and USB fuses eliminated. I have a latest version Raspberry Pi running the version of emoncms that uses a hard disc. I am asking as I have an original Rasp Pi and would like to swap them over if there is no difference using it in this application.

Re: Raspberry Pi Rev 1
I had run it for a while on a "small" RPi without problems. I only changed the memory split to the smallest possible value for the graphics (did not want to run graphical interface). I could install and use the HDD split version (with a USBStick instead of a real HDD).

Re: Raspberry Pi Rev 1
Thank's for that. I dont use graphics in this appliation. I was a bit worried the lower memory size might have been a problem or even worse the change in GPIO assignments.
Re: Raspberry Pi Rev 1
Being honest I was not aware of any change regarding GPIO. But at least it did not harm the RFMPi module (in my case).
