Hi,
Does anyone have one, either from eBay or anywhere with the 9V AC-AC adapter with an AU plug?
I'm interested in getting some stuff but the only thing I can't find is the AC-AC adapter.

Radio Parts has one for $13.75:

Jaycar has a similar one, but it costs around $20,
Re: AC - AC adapter for Australia
The important parameter is the fidelity of the output waveform, i.e. freedom from saturation and the associated amplitude and phase distortion, and the data sheets are unlikely to tell you that. You require about 11 V out at whatever your local mains voltage is, and given that the adapter is essentially operating on no-load, a 9 V output is usually about right. The supplier we use does not appear to offer the same unit with an Australian plug.

Thanks,
I'd be interested to hear if anyone has tried the Jaycar one. I have a store near me so I can go instore. Postage for the Radio parts one ends up costing more.
Thanks Robert, but most of that is gibberish to me. I'll have to google a few things.

I'm also Interested to hear how people have gone in australia with the 9v ac adaptors.
Re: AC - AC adapter for Australia
I recently got a 9V ac-ac adapter off EBay, they are advertised as for use with Guitar Amps and Pedals. Here is a link to one such. You can also get them from RS (free shipping) but will need an adapter since they use non-AU plugs.
I also picked one up (12V AC) from my local trash and treasure market for $5.
Re: AC - AC adapter for Australia
Would I be able to use the EU AC adapter available in your shop (made for 230VAC) and use it in Australia (240VAC) by adjusting the calibration value in the emonhub.conf file?
i tried it but it doesn't seem to work. Does that mean that I have to purchase a 240/9VAC power adapter in Australia?
Re: AC - AC adapter for Australia
As far as I know, the actual values are not picked up from the emonhub.conf file, because I don't think there is a mechanism for the 328P to read data from the emonPi on demand. You can do it in two ways, either edit the sketch, compile it and load it as per the instructions in the Wiki, or you can (in emonhub.conf) adjust the "scales" for that node and inputs (remember power as well as voltage will be affected) by the requisite factor.
