I like to keep up to date with new comments when I am subscribed to a thread, but it's frustrating when you get an alert because the links never work properly.
Take for example the alert I received about 30 minutes ago (pasted below). I would have thought that by selecting the link (which I have bolded below) would direct me to that particular comment, but it does not. Instead it takes me to the header of page 1, whereas the comment referred to is half way down page 2!!
This problem is made worse because the comments are not stored in chronological order, therefore to find the comment, you have to search through (in this case) 4 pages of comments.

Re: Frustrating subscription alerts!
Hi Paul,
We have also been getting a but fustrated with it. We have just implemented some changes to the forums, hopefully this should make threads easier to follow and improve subscription alerts. You can manage your subscriptions by going to 'My Account' > 'Subscriptions'.
We have changed:
Would be great to hear how you and other users get on with these new changes. Have you any other ideas for forum improvement I would like to add a forum search box, maybe part of advanced search. I will look into this....
