Hi - I have my system up and running and really think this is a great way to get a handle on energy use, well done to all involved in this initiative, excellent build guides and easy to load software, all worked first time! I have a temp module and a simple current monitor emontx at the moment, but another emontx to add to the solar array is on the way as is an AC transformer for voltage/power to add to the existing emon.
I had my system running fine using the Raspi as a base and web server for about a week, but due to the concern about the SD card failures and before I built up too much data I switched to the gateway build on the Pi and now feed data to the Emoncms hosted server [pity the Raspi verison was really good!]. All ok there but I can't seem to get the histogram to make sense. It worked fine on the Raspi build, but remote-hosted it produces values in the 10,000's on the Y axis. I have killed the feed and rebuilt the input multiple times thinking there was some dodgy data in there to start with which is messing it up but I still get the same error on the chart, which means I can't use the more complex chart views of course. Any advice greatly appreciated!
I've ordered a reed switch to have a go at gas use monitoring with the second Emontx and when this is cleared I'll report back here on how that goes.
Help with problem with Histogram data on hosted Emoncms?
