Yes, it's available on Github, and works great with v6.

Does the event module work with the latest ready to go emoncms raspberry pi image? ie. the oem gateway version.
I am thinking it won't because the gateway version doesn't have emoncms running locally.
I use the event module for all sorts of things like the usual inactivity alerts plus low battery alerts on my battery powered nodes, greenhouse frost alerts etc. and I like the idea of the extra robustness of the oem gateway but not if I have to sacrifice the event module.

If you use the standalone OEM gateway then you need the event module on the distant emoncms installation, be it on a server of yours or on emoncms.org.
I don't know if it is installed on emoncms.org. Would be nice, I suppose.
