I am currently using a RPi as Bas station with a 4Gb SD card
EmonCMS works well, I am recording 3 CT and 2 Temp Sensor
So I have 4 Inputs from CTs and 4 inputs from Temp + battery state
These are converted to 4 Feeds (temp + Voltage) every 240s
and 16 Feeds (power / powerday / kWh / Histo) every 20s
I see that my SD card has only 770Mb left, how long will this be enough ?
Could I put the Data on a external usb HardDisk, plugged on the Rpi ?
Thanks for your help

Re: EmonCMS on raspberry and SD capacity
Yes you can move the rootfs to an external drive, even a USB pen drive, but have you considered converting your feeds to Timestore? This would significantly reduce your data storage needs and also improve performance.
