Hi, I'm a newbie to openenergymonitor, I'm testing the first emontx , emonlcd and a emonbase on raspberry.
a question: is possible on raspberry to write code to launch an external program on some situation? ex. when ct1 power > ct2, or when temperatures is lower 5°?
my idea is to integrate opencms with my home automation to power on / off heat pump or other.
Re: need to launch external software from emoncms
Hi,
There is the "Events" module addon for Emoncms, this does require installing on a local (or virtual) server, and this will allow it to work with one feed.
For more info have a quick read of Martin's Post on his blog, goes into beter detail than I would be able to.
