This option already exists. See "Subscribe" links. But to my knowledge, it does not work correctly.

Yes, it needs to be under this comment box, otherwise anyone who is interested and doing multiple posts will eventually be lost.

I can't seem to find this option to 'subscribe' anywhere. Am I blind?! I am not getting email notifications about forum replies which would be very handy. Any tips?

You'll find it under "My account", but as far as I'm aware, it has not worked correctly for some time.

...not worked for me either...

neither does alerts about items in the moderation queue awaiting approval, private messages, etc.

Is there anyway this feature can be fixed? I think it would promote far more activity on the forums as currently unless you check back every day you have no idea if a thread you are involved in has had any activity.

I know myself I sometimes get busy and forget to check back, and then come across answers to questions I posted days ago. Email notifications would alert me to these answers and ensure a more active thread IMHO.

Unfortunately I have no idea about forum software so I can't offer any 'solutions' but I think fixing this would vastly improve the speed of 'conversations', i.e. responses etc.

I wonder if Trystan has seen this thread? Maybe he has, and it's either too difficult or he can't fix it. I seem to remember that he tried a while ago and got nowhere.

Il try and take a look at this again. There where problems with the emails getting stuck and then people getting a flood of notification emails. I agree it would be useful to get working.
