Event Module - emoncms v5

Does this module work OK in emoncms v5?

I have it installed, but it does not work for me. The condition is being detected as it display's 'true' but the 'Last True' still shows 1970, so something is amiss.

I've rechecked the gmail SMTP settings, but nothing is sent/received.

Hi Paul,

Sorry I missed you're message the other night. Trystan is the man to speak to about this, he's in Manchester doing some build workshops this weekend, I don't think the event module is working at the moment. I agree, it would be a good thing to have. I'll speak to Trystan this week about it.

Thanks Glyn, I just wanted to make sure that it was not an error in my installation as I'm not very confident with linux or git.

If it's not working yet, that's fine, no rush, I'll use it when Trystan get's time to sort it.

Any news on the event module? - It is quite essential for my project, do you guys know when it will be fixed? If not, is there any easy way of downgrading to the previous version where this module works.

The developer is Nick Boyle (elyobelyob). Perhaps can you try to PM his in case he missed this thread.

Lobo, I PM'd Nick a couple of weeks ago re the event module, and he suggested that Trystan may be able to assist as he is most recent author of the code, and who has made a number of changes since Nick first wrote the module.

I understand from Glyn that this was to be raised with Trystan, who will no doubt sort it when he gets chance.

This module is really looking for developers to help with, I've been talking with Idle about it and he may take a look, he's currently working on a forgotten password feature which also involved adding email support to emoncms.
