Has anyone tried to monitor Storage radiators that wired in using a fixed spur point?
I tried a energy monitor from one of the energy supplies but it will not monitor the current flow. will the open energy monitors be able to do this?

Re: Monitor individual storage radiators
In principle, yes, it should be possible. However, the problem that immediately springs to mind is access to measure the voltage and current. You need to be able to put a current transformer around just one wire (Line or Neutral), and you need (for best accuracy) to monitor the voltage. That seems to imply taking the cable into a medium sized box to give mechanical protection and splitting up the conductors for the c.t., and providing a socket for the voltage monitor if you need it.
From a practical viewpoint, it sounds fraught with difficulties.
