I want to use the counter of the EmonTx to count values of a humidity sensor under my bathtube because I had a problem with a wastewater pipeand it was a lot of work to repair everything (we had to renovate half of the bathroom).
My plan for the sensor is to send 1Hz or less, so I would be able to see how long exactly there is a leakage. As Oscillator I will use a NE555 or maybe a PIC processor running at a very low frequency and always going to sleep for some seconds between the measurements.
What is the maximum counter value of the hardware and software in the EmonTx before there is an overflow or the counter returns to 0?
Is there a possibility to reset the counter in the EmonTx to 0 remotely or via pushbutton after there was an alarm?
Pulse counter for other purpose
