I have just done an installation of emoncms on a raspberry pi following the latest instructions (Latest Blog Posts/Raspberry Pi emonbase). But when I try to create a user, I get 'The requested URL /emoncms/user/create was not found on this server.'
And, yes, I have followed the instructions under step 4) enable mod rewrite.
I have had this same problem on all my emoncms installations until now and I am really helpless. Am I doing something completely wrong somewhere in the installation process?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
BR, Jörg.
PS: I am so sorry! Did not read correctly that the 'AllowOverride None' has to be changed in two places (lines 7 and 11)!!!
Re: Raspberry Pi emonbase 404 not found error (solved!)
I have the same problem. I have run the
root@rpi2aed:/var/www/emoncms/Modules/user# sudo a2enmod rewrite
Module rewrite already enabled
and verified lines 7 and 11 have "All" in file /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default
What should I try next? This is not my first try...
(I know root and sudo is redundant.)

PS. reboot is needed before step 10
