EmonCMS doesn't show public feeds

Hi all,

I've just installed Emoncms (downloaded form here: https://github.com/emoncms/emoncms) on a Raspberry PI.

When I'm logged in, I can see my dashboards, but also if dashboard is set as public, I cannot see anything from public url (http://filartrix.dyndns.org/emoncms/filartrix&id=1).

I made the installation 3 days ago.

Hello Filippo, fixed this bug last night, if you open your settings.php file and chance $public_profile_action = "run"; to $public_profile_action = "view"; that should fix it. see here for more info: http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/node/1299

Hi, I'm running emoncms on a fresh install of Xubuntu 12.04, and just did the standard install from the Emoncms webpage. Public dashboards don't work at all for me, even when I'm signed in - I have to click on the eye icon in the dashboard list to view them. I checked, and my settings.php already has the above change:

$public_profile_action = "view";

Any other ideas?

On the whole, I'm pretty impressed though - I just got my monitor running using an arduino, some CT's and an old eeepc; works great other than the dashboard thing!

Figured out my problem.

I used my email address for my username, as instructed, but public dashboards don't work with an email for a username, probably due to the dropped @. Tried it a couple times with different usernames; email addresses don't work, simple usernames work fine.

i also have this problem... i have set my dashboard to public... but still the only way to see it is is to login

i have set both the dashboard and feeds to be public

I'm also having this problem. The dashboard only displays if I am logged on, it is not displaying as public in order to show others. What did you do to make it work?

I had this same issue and found that you also need to make the feed public that the dashboard is attached to.
