Web hosted emoncms 9.2 won't save settings for My Electric

I have emoncms 9.2 hosted on my shared linux server. Everything is working fine just the setting inside My Electric app wont save. By settings I mean the feeds, currency and electricity rate?

Can someone guide me in the right direction on how I can fix this?

Have you updated your database since installing My Electric?

Settings > Administration > Update Database

No I did not. I ran the database update but still no luck.

What is the right way to install my electric app? I just copied the files to the folder. Do I need to do anything else?
