I have an emonTX v3 communicating to a Raspberry Pi/RFM69Pi and have successfully set up emoncms working on localhost/emoncms. Two CTs are connected to the emonTx and a red LED simultaneously flashes on the emonTX and the RFM69Pi, every 10 seconds. On logging into my emoncms I get messages saying 'No feeds created' and 'No inputs created', "Configure your device to post values here". A link to 'input API helper' is provided but it doesn't provide me with the help at the level that I need. I need some very clear and detailed, step by step instructions as I appear to be very stupid.
Any help would be greatly appreciated so that I can complete this project to monitor the output of my PV panels and my electrical energy useage.
Re: Advice needed on configuring emoncms inputs
I doubt that you're very stupid, it's just that you've missed something. I don't know much about the Pi/RFM69Pi, I'm hoping someone knowledgeable will step in.
Which firmware have you loaded into your Pi?
Re: Advice needed on configuring emoncms inputs
I m using the Raspbian Jeezy that came with my pi 2 B+ and I have loaded and updated all the openenergymonitor recommended files. I seem to have made a break through recently and I am now getting data arriving in the input & feed catagories. Now struggling with making sense of this data and creating the visualisations etc. Do you know of a good tutorial for this?
Re: Advice needed on configuring emoncms inputs
I'm afraid that, as far as I know, there is no tutorial for emoncms, other than what you can read in the on-line help.
