Is it possible to mount the EmonTX outside, that is inside the electric "cabin" where incoming electric is ? How are the specs for humidity and temperature....we can reach -35 occasionally in wintertime even though it is uncommon these days.

Re: EmonTX outside, subzero
Should be fine down to - 40 deg C according to ATmega328 and RFM69CW datasheet. I would expect humidity to be more of an issue than temperature. Should be fine as long as it's well sheltered and protected
Re: EmonTX outside, subzero
Great! It should be well sheltered inside the electric-box. Thankyou!
Re: EmonTX outside, subzero
batteries might freeze up :-D
what sensors are on?
you can give the board a spray of print laquer but if you have a humidity sensor you have to tape that off first so its not covered
Re: EmonTX outside, subzero
I´m going to use 3-4 CT's, nothing else.
Re: EmonTX outside, subzero
then tape off the CT jack's and give it a spray
