Good day
I'm looking at the EmonP_V1.5 schematic and have a question about D1, D2 and D3. It looks like they are there to isolate the analog inputs from any ground plane noise, would this be an accurate assumption? What type of diode is used?
Thanks very much!
Re: D1-D3 diode type
The diodes are there to provide a degree of protection against input transients. I don't have a BOM for the emonPi. However, for the emonTx, the diode in the equivalent position is a MMBZ15VALT1G.
Re: D1-D3 diode type
That's perfect, thanks kindly Robert.
