Radio Control

I'm doing exactly that using Byron Home Easy sockets.

I have a sketch which receives the remote transmission and tells me it's code.  I then put this into another sketch which then automates the sockets, using a 433mhz OOK transmitter. 

Im unsure what you mean about monitoring specific consumptions though.

If interested I can explain more and give the sketch.

I would like  read the load or consumption of an appliance connected and then integrate the whole with emoncms3
