Nodes Mixed up in Emoncms, data not posted correctly?

I have the Raspberry and the Emon T v3 hardware working with 3CTs, one AC/AC and one Dallas.

During my holiday the battery went out, and i just came back, removed the batteries and changed the jumper to AC/AC powering because i am out of batteries. They lasted only for about one month befor they were finished wich indicates some kind of problem in the emon TX v3 unit.

When i reconnect to Emoncms there is a new node.

I now have two nodes, 10 and 28. Why is there two nodes?

Is there anything i should know about changing from battery to AC/AC?

Picture attached shows the situation. There are now 17 lines (keys) in the node numbered 28, this corresponds to the number of calculations i have from the input keys in node 10.

Is this normal?

Re: Nodes Mixed up in Emoncms, data not posted correctly?

I don't think there should be any reason for the node id to change.

How is the emonTx powered at the time of the screen dump? the node10 is updating and the node 28 is inactive which means it has been at least a day since it was updated (depending on emoncms version).

There are only 8 inputs for node 28 not 17 (that I can see)

I strongly suspect at some point there has been a stray packet picked up by the RFM2Pi, it's probally safe to just delete it and see if it returns.

Re: Nodes Mixed up in Emoncms, data not posted correctly?

Hello!

Thank you kindly for the fast reply!

There are 17 inputs but they dont all fit inside the screen dump ;)

Wich of the nodes are the normal one? Is Node 10 normal for the Emon TX v3?

Can i delete the other one with no problems to the other nodes/inputs?

Best regards

Johannes

Yes I think you should be ok to delete it.

10 is the standard node id for emonTx yes.

The filtering is pretty good on the rfm network but it's not quite water tight.

Re: Nodes Mixed up in Emoncms, data not posted correctly?

Ok!

Thanks guys, i just deleted all the ghost inputs and it seems to work Ok!

Maybe this happened during the weeks of offline due to finished battery. Picking up bad packages when there is no Emon TX to listen to. Never happened before.
