I would store data outside the raspberry.
I have already a MySQL server
What are the data that are actually generated ?
I would like to mount an NFS share on my Synology NAS.
Apparently the data appears to be stored in the directory /home/pi/data
Is it correct?
My idea is to setup emoncms to use the remote mysql server and do a NFS share with autofs for feed data.
I think then turn off the local mysql server.
What do you think?

Maybe going further than you need or would like but I moved my whole Pi filesystem to a NAS share using the following instructions:
