Emoncms kWhd Problems

Hi,

Firstly let me apologise if this has already been addressed, I did search but could not find the answer.

Secondly let me introduce myself. My name is Ivan and I have been an engineer in the computer and electronics industry for just short of forty years.

About 10 months ago I had a 16 panel, 4.5kW setup installed on my almost south facing roof. It appears to be working well, generating up to around 20kWh per day (weather has not been the best). At the beginning of this year I ordered the emonTx v3, emonBase and emonGLCD etc and after a bit of work and use of search on here got it all up and running fairly well.

Until BST (daylight savings) happened!

After a lot more work and searching I have got it running once again, with the exception of kWh/d. There is something weird going on. The kWh feed looks fine but the kWhd feed shows the 2.2 kWhs from yesterday and not the 18 kWhs so far today.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Ivan

Re: Emoncms kWhd Problems

I have similar problem after adding a kWh/d feed to an existing realtime feed.

The 'value' looks OK (5.93kWh) but the bar graph doesn't, 11.3kWh, same as 1st day's reading.

The only difference between this new addition & previous kWhd feeds is the 'Engine'; previous 2 kWhd Engines are MYSQL & the new feed's Engine is PHPTIMESERIES,  if that is relevant.

Any suggestions would be welcomed

Chris

Hi Paul

I couldn't find the posting yesterday so I started a new one thinking this one had disappeared in to th ether!!

I'm no programmer but the above link you supplied appears to be a time zone issue but my problem doesn't seem to be.

Hoping Trystan can help here
