Have you checked that the location of your data directories (phpfiwa, phpfina ect) corresponds with the locations specified in your settings.php file?

Yes, but I am not sure that the unix path for 'datadir' are correct, I have created the "emoncmsdata" directory directly under the root (/) like this

'datadir'=>'/emoncmsdata/phpfiwa/'
),
'phpfina'=>array(
'datadir'=>'/emoncmsdata/phpfina/'
),
'phptimeseries'=>array(
'datadir'=>'/emoncmsdata/phptimeseries/'

'datadir'=>'/emoncmsdata/phptimestore/'

Could you tell me if it is correct or may be it is rights issue ( I put 777 on the directory but I didn't change .htaccess) ?

I've no experience of using OVH or similar hosting, but if you are able to call php scripts try copying the attached php file to one of your data directories and running it. It should return the directory's current location.

Plan B would be to email OVH support and ask the question.

NOTE; there is a block on uploading php files, so I've changed the suffix to txt, but should be changed back to php.

Installing emoncms on OVH should work. I've had an account with them since January, and have had no problems with it. My web page is at: 167.114.114.94/emoncms/meter.

I use the default data storage locations given in settings.php, i.e. /var/lib/phpfina etc.

Bill, very nice graphics, I would like to know which graphics you use and also which feeds. What are your inputs ? Is it only Power and you calculate kwh and kwhd ?

I'm also trying to install emoncms on my site at OVH.

Where did you create your data directories ?? Under /www ?

I created a emoncms directory where i uploaded all the files. When i call the index.php, i get a message telling me that i didn't configure the default.settings.php. I didn't do it as i don't want to mess my database as i have another CMS (Joomla!) running.

But at least the emoncms is alive !

What tables are created by emoncms ?

Answering to myself,

I created a new database via the IVH manager could setup the settings file. I left the datafiles settings to default, and it seems to work... :-)

I could login and create the admin account.

Now, i have to deal with the rest ! ;-)
