Watt hour bargraph on web hosted emoncms change yesterday seems to cause a problem

Hopefully someone can help me out, I'm running the continuous monitoring sketch on my emontx which is sending watt hour totals to emoncms. I have followed the guide on the openenergy monitor blog to create bar graphs showing each days totals. For some reason after the changed at least two of graphs are showing a large negative value and large increase the day after, does anyone know why this may be as there doesn't seem to be any matching increase in the feed? One of the feeds I'm graphing is 54283 if that helps. I've attached a picture of the graph.

The current days measurements on the bar graph also don't make sense, for example today my solar panels are shown as generating 19kWh which was yesterdays reading.

Hopefully someone can point me in  the right direction.

Hello MikeW, this will probably relate to an update I did yesterday to the way data is requested for graphs. There appear to be a couple of problems with the new implementation - which intends to make it easier to pull out data at specific intervals easier. Hopefully Il get them fixed over the next few days. Thanks for letting me know!

Hello MikeW, There are two parts to fully fixing this problem, I've done the first part which removes the large spikes caused by a missing day which mostly restores your graphs to a readable form.

The reason for the missing day value is a little more complicated and has been a bug for a while, basically even if there is data in the feed for most of that day, if there happens to be a missing datapoint at midnight written as null to disk it will return null and so appear as if the day is missing even though its only the midnight value.

I've got a fix for this bug working on my test setup which will fill in missing datapoints with the previous valid datapoint giving a fully working wh graph with no missing days. Il be adding this to emoncms and emoncms.org very soon.

Thanks for the update TrystanLea, I'll wait patiently and keep an eye out. I did notice some changes to the my solar app which I really like though!
