Hello all,
my brand new EmonTH, which i got today, shows in Emoncms an input Key 5.
It is between -46.0 and -42.0.
What a value is this?
Thanks!

Re: EmonTH Key 5
OK!
After some experiments I think this value ist the signal strength of the transceiver in dB. Very nice!!!
But in the official firmware on github, i can not not see anything about that.
Are the files are up to date?
Best regards,
Thomas
Re: EmonTH Key 5
If you are using a rfm69 equipped RFM2Pi or a RFM69Pi board the "RSSI" gets tagged on the end of whatever comes in via RF, it's not really about the device (or the firmware of the device) being received, more the device doing the receiving.

Hello Paul,
thanks for your answer! I am using the new RFM69Pi board.
That is a really great thing! So I can test, how far i can go!
Please excuse my bad English. Corrections are welcome!
